St. Simons Island summers include not one, but TWO oceanfront concert series. On select Sunday evenings, St. Simons Island combines ocean breezes and live music. Guests are encouraged to bring picnics, cocktails and beach chairs as you enjoy the show. For residents and visitors alike, it’s one of the Island’s favorite ways to close out the weekend.
Presented by Golden Isles Arts & Humanities, Sounds by the Sea features a variety of artists throughout the series. The best local and regional musicians perform on high tide, breezy Sunday evenings. This family-friendly event on the oceanfront Neptune Park lawn is casual and the perfect way to wind down Sunday Funday!
Concerts take place from 7-9pm; admission at the gate is $10 for adults, $5 for ages 6-12 and free for children under 6.
Presented by the Coastal Georgia Historical Society, A Little Light Music is held on the oceanfront lawn at the St. Simons Island lighthouse. Musicians set up in the gazebo and the fun begins at 7pm. Concert-goers bring food, lawn chairs and cocktails to enjoy the show.
Concerts begin at 7pm; admission is $12, free for children under 12.
