We are often asked who is responsible for the  Hodnett Cooper artwork; her name is Babrara Meuller.

An artist with a background in fine arts and city planning, Ms. Mueller’s oil paintings primarily depict architectural and cultural landmarks, many of the Georgia coast. She has worked for national and international clients and is the signature artist for the Savannah Byrd Cookie Company whose food products are distributed nationwide, painting series for Savannah, Historic Charleston Foundation, Cayman Islands, Key West, Hilton Head and Amelia Island as well as series of paintings for a wide variety of food labels. As artist for several   prominent real estate firms, including Hodnett Cooper, her work can be seen in publications and movie advertisements. She also produces paintings and drawings for developers, real estate entrepreneurs and recently painted the feature cover for US Airways Magazine. Her landscapes can be seen at the Glynn Art Association where she currently teaches oil painting.

Ms. Mueller’s work includes extensive commission work for private homes. She painted for Camalier and Buckley of Sea Island for twelve years, producing over 1000 oil paintings for them. Her work also includes set design for theatre and television ads. She designed the sets for the week long Milennium Celebration at the Cloister Hotel and the Ocean Forest Club.

Previously, Ms. Mueller co-authored and illustrated the “Embassy Fare” Cookbook, featuring 90 embassies, was design consultant to the Episcopal Diocese of Washington, an instructor at the Catholic University Graduate School of Architecture and Engineering, and a city planner for Fairfax County, Virginia.

A fine arts and art history graduate of Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland, Ms. Mueller did graduate studies at the University of Virginia and holds a Master’s Degree in City and Regional Planning from the Catholic University Graduate School of Architecture and Engineering in Washington, D.C.

An active member of the Golden Isles community, she is a long time member and Secretary of the Board of Trustees of Frederica Academy, Life Member and former President of the Island Players Theatre.
