112 Rivera Drive is a modern 3 bedroom/2.5 bath, pet-friendly, single-family home located mid-island on a quiet residential street flanked by live oaks draped with Spanish moss. The house is immaculate and provides all necessary amenities, such as: high speed internet, Xfinity cable for the 4 televisions, an Atlantic security system, DVD players, plus a yard maintenance service. The first level has a spacious floor plan with wood and travertine floors and vaulted ceilings. The living area has a large flat screen television and plenty of seating. The enclosed sun-room offers an alternate relaxing environment for unwinding and watching TV. The light coastal décor provides a serene setting throughout. The back yard includes a gas grill and a fire pit with plenty of firewood. The three bedrooms are upstairs with a Queen in the master, a Queen in one guest room and twin beds in the third. One bath is in the master with the second full bath shared by both guest rooms. There is an additional half bath downstairs.
The property is conveniently located for many activities. The dog-friendly East Beach is 3.3 miles down Frederica and Demere Roads. Across the street is the 10-mile Hampton Spur bike/walk/jogging trail on Frederica Rd. Also, north on Frederica, is “The Stables at Frederica” where guests may enjoy a beach or wooded trail ride through the beautiful Georgia scenery. Nearby is the Redfern Village Shopping District for food, shopping, and lively nightlife. Good restaurants such as Southern Soul BBQ (2 miles), The Half Shell Seafood (3.6 miles), or Fox’s Pizza Den (1.8 miles) are all very convenient.
Being located near the intersection of Sea Island and Frederica Roads, the property has easy access to Torras Causeway and Brunswick, GA. Guests may therefore experience activities here as well. For example, learn the basic skills of sea kayaking while paddling the scenic “Marshes of Glynn”on a Brunswick Kayak Tour. Explore Hofwyl-Broadfield Plantation which is a historic rice plantation from the early 1800’s. View the 900-year-old Lover’s Oak tree. Enjoy the Richland Rum distillery, which offers tours and rum tasting. Or, since golf courses on St. Simon’s are private, guests may drive across the lovely Sidney Lanier bridge to the Jekyll Island Golf Club, on Jekyll Island.
A garage is available for parking. Please note the pictured fireplace is not available for guest use.
