This magnificent oceanfront home overlooks Gould’s Inlet in the East Beach neighborhood of St. Simons Island. Nestled in the sand dunes, most guests walk across the lush lawn and swimming pool area to enter the home through its oceanfront entrance.
Guests will immediately take note of the unique coastal style—bright and comfortable with original artwork and distinctive decor at every turn. The main level of the house features a quiet library inside the entrance and three bedrooms, each with an en suite bath. One bedroom features four twin beds—ideal for a family traveling with children. The bedrooms are connected to the expansive covered porch that overlooks the swimming pool, lawn and ocean beyond.
The second level features a spacious living area with fireplace, gourmet kitchen, wet bar and master suite. The gourmet kitchen offers professional appliances including a Viking range, a Sub Zero refrigerator and ample preparation space. The living area and master suite connect to the second level porch. And in one imaginative feature, a metal bucket on a pulley connects the pool area with the kitchen—send down cool beverages and snacks to those lounging poolside.
The home also features a rooftop deck, which is ideal for sunbathing or stargazing. This home features plenty of outdoor spaces for relaxation!
The grounds of this home are as unique and comfortable as the interior. Porches on the main level and second floor run the length of the house, great for dining, reading or relaxing. The porches overlook the large, crystal clear pool with stunning tile work. Adjacent to the pool is a shaded tiki bar, which will become a favorite gathering spot.
