St. Simons Island, Georgia Area Information

St. Simons Island is the largest barrier island in Georgia’s Golden Isles, a serene escape, where history, nature, and small-town coastal life come together. More than 100 miles of Atlantic coastline frame its beaches, marshes, and winding waterways, while canopies of 100-year-old Southern oaks shade miles of scenic bike paths. Around every turn, you’ll find stories preserved in historic landmarks and neighborhoods that still feel like true communities, which is why we love it so much. It’s one of those rare places that encourage a slower pace, time spent outdoors, and reconnecting with family, whether that be during long beach strolls or evenings spent under the moss-draped oaks.

“We always try to catch a sunrise on East Beach when we can. It’s the best way to start the day on St. Simons!”
