Hodnett Cooper Vacation Rentals is pleased to offer this two-bedroom, two-bath oceanfront residence at Shipwatch. The Shipwatch community is located oceanfront on St. Simons Island on a desirable stretch of beach between Massengale Park and the historic Coast Guard Station. Shipwatch has been a favorite family destination for many years. And with just 52 residences, Shipwatch is a quiet community for weekend getaways or a comfortable snowbird destination during coastal Georgia’s mild winter months.

Community amenities include private boardwalk access to the beach, swimming pool, large grass lawn, outdoor grill and complimentary in-room high-speed internet service.

Each vacation rental residence features two bedrooms, two full baths, a combined living, dining, and kitchen area and a private balcony. Though this community is located directly on the ocean, individual residences, unless otherwise specified, do not offer ocean views.

#208 is a good, clean unit. I love the color scheme and having fiesta ware in the kitchen is just beautiful. We were very pleased with the pool at the property and the easy walking access back and forth to our unit from the beach just can't be beat. Boardwalk was closed access and had spray off hoses so we didn't go back to our rooms sandy. We rented umbrella and chairs on beach. We went back and forth from pool to beach all day. All guests at Shipwatch were pleasant and friendly. Unit's proximity to elevator a plus! We would definitely recommend Shipwatch to others!!

I would not recommend this unit due to the fact that the second bedroom is in poor condition. I am so glad we decided not to bring our grandchildren with us this visit as I would not have wanted them to stay in that bedroom. I believe that units should be priced according to their amenties and updates. This unit was not updated. Older TVs in master bedroom. Master bedroom bed was so low on the floor, it was uncomfortable. Would not recommend this unit. Other units at Shipwatch that we have stayed in have been so nice and updated. Price should constitute condition of each unit.
