The experience is a pleasure. The unit is on the the beach which is easily accessible in both high and low tide. Family enjoys the resort style pool and we use the gas grills for a great family dinner.

The 4 stars is totally based on location and layout. The unit 'has great bones', but is definitely in need of updating and attention, in general. Even so, we had a great time and would recommend the unit.

Great location. A few minor issues, washer dryer was broken but fixed after a week. No screens on the bedroom windows, front screen door did not close and lock, and a broken handrail on the stairs down off the deck. Other than those issues it is a lovely place.

The St. Simons Grand was, ...well, GRAND. It was evident that the owners and staff alike take great pride in the quality of the entire resort; inside and out. Staff members always took time to speak and make sure we were enjoying our stay. We are already planning our return trip.
