Foster Stephanie

Stephanie Foster Webb – Hodnett Cooper Real Estate’s Top Producing Agent of the Year- Stephanie Foster Webb was honored with the “Top Producing Agent of the Year” award. This award recognizes the exceptional level of accomplishment for the Hodnett Cooper agent with the highest sales volume for the year.

Stephanie finished the 2015 year with a $9,404,771 sales volume and was involved in 62 transaction sides.

Fitzpatrick Rachel

Rachel Fitzpatrcik – Hodnett Cooper Open Heart & Hands Award- Rachel Fitzpatrick was the recipient of the Hodnett Cooper “Open Heart & Hands Award”. Rachel was nominated by her peers for her charitable efforts and positive community impact. Throughout the year Rachel works with various organizations and is always on the lookout for an opportunity to assist the less fortunate. Rachel is best known for her annual “Don’t Be a Scrooge” fundraiser that  she coordinates to benefit families in need during the holiday season. By the giving of her time and talents, Rachel not only makes a difference in the community but in her profession as well.

A fellow REALTOR describes Rachel as “the epitome of open heart”.

Miller Dawn

Dawn Miller – Hodnett Cooper Young Gun Award – The Hodnett Cooper Young Gun Award recognizes an agent that has joined the real estate industry within the last 24 months who has demonstrated dedication, a positive attitude and an exceptionally outstanding listing and sales performance. REALTOR, Dawn Miller was the recipient of this award. Approaching her first year in real estate with eagerness, Dawn utilized our training, technology and support services and has earned almost 50 hours of continued education in her first 18 months as a licensed REALTOR. Dawn attended 2 business development “boot camps”, the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World’s Annual Convention in Las Vegas as well as a variety of GIAR functions. In addition she achieved $5,574,452 in sales and 38 transactions in her last 18 months.

For Dawn, Pat Hodnett Cooper believes this is only the beginning of a long, successful career. She states, “I am incredibly proud of Dawn for her outstanding achievements during her first full year in the real estate business, she is positioning herself to be a dominate presence in Real Estate, now and in the years to come.”

We are thrilled to announce that REALTOR, Anne Lyndon Peck has joined our Hodnett Cooper Team!

Born in Macon, and a seventh-generation Georgian, Anne has been visiting the Golden Isles since she was a young child. She has recently moved to St. Simons from Athens, where her family has a long history with the University of Georgia and especially UGA football. Anne received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and worked as an interior designer for several firms in New England and Georgia. While her three daughters were growing up she and her husband founded one of the earliest internet retail companies,; more recently they opened thirteen PeachMac Apple retail stores across the south.

Anne revels in using her eye for interior design and her fluency in internet marketing to help buyers find the perfect home and sellers show their houses to the greatest effect.

Anne’s passion for Coastal Georgia is renewed every time she takes a long walk on the beach with her husband. She also enjoys listening to live music and dining at the great local restaurants in the Golden Isles. She has joined the Literary Guild of St. Simons and the St. Simons Land Trust,  and is always looking to be active in other local organizations.

Here at Hodnett Cooper Real Estate we not only have the most talented group of agents but also the most giving. Since January 2015, Realtor, Carly Oxenreider has brought a new meaning to corporate charitable giving through her program, “Paying It Forward with Property”. She donates 10 percent of her personal commission at the end of each sale to a charity of her client’s choosing.

The Holiday edition of Golden Isles Magazine recently did an article on Carly’s giving demeanor. In the article readers discover that Carly’s passion for giving back started long before she came to Hodnett Cooper Real Estate, For her 40th birthday a few years ago, while living in Los Angeles, she asked family and friends to commit to completing random acts of kindness such  handing out coats to the homeless or buying someones meal at a drive through window. We could not be more thrilled she brought her Real Estate talent and giving heart to Hodnett Cooper in 2014 . We look forward to many years of working along side this talented, selfless woman.

Carly hopes more real estate agents will follow her lead and create their own way to pay it forward. Maybe we can all take note from Carly’s example. With the holidays approaching the needs of others become more visible. There are so many opportunities to give back regardless of where you are.

Having moved from Georgia to Alaska back to Florida and a few places in between, Bree is excited to have finally returned to Coastal Georgia. Jean is originally from California but has lived in the Southeast since 1986. She previously resided in Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, North Carolina. Since 2014 Jean has proudly called the Golden Isles her home.

For 25 years Jean worked as a cosmetologist building and maintaining strong relationships with her clientele – an asset greatly desired in the real estate industry. Jean also brings her previous mortgage experience to Hodnett Cooper. Advising agents and attorneys, as well as approving closing documents for over 2 years, she can help council her clients to avoid common pitfalls that can delay the short sale process. Jean has an extensive knowledge of investor and servicer terminology to aide buyers and sellers navigate through any situation.

Starting her career in North and South Carolina, Jean has been a licensed realtor since 2009. With her passion for helping others, whether you are buying or selling, she will negotiate for your best interest and keep her clients’ needs first.

When she’s not working Jean enjoys exercising and has recently taken up golf. She loves cooking and spending time with her family.

Every month this year, Hodnett Cooper Real Estate will be presenting the “Roy Hodnett Positive Person Award” to one team member in the Brunswick office and one team member in the St. Simons Island office. The award can be given for any number of reasons that fall under the “positive person” umbrella. For example: helping a fellow employee with a difficult situation, participating in a charitable event, rescuing a dog, covering the front desk for a sick employee or taking food to a family in need. The award winner is the person that never says “no” when someone needs assistance, or the person that always makes you smile. The award recipient chooses the next month’s recipient based on those criteria.

Last month’s recipients, Carly Oxenrider, of our Brunswick office, and Emily Holcomb, of our St. Simons Island office, nominated and awarded the recipients for May:

Melissa Johnson – as Carly describes, “I chose Melissa because every day, no matter how busy she is, I am always greeted by her smiling face at the front desk. She remains positive, even when things are not going well, or as expected. Melissa consistently exceeds expectations,” said Carly.

Vicki also has a long background of community service—she was named Glynn County Young Woman of the Year in 1984, won the Dartee Gayner Community Service Award in 1992, graduated Leadership Glynn in 1995, and was a YWCA Tribute to Women Leaders Honoree in 2003. At the recent Golden Isles Association of Realtors (GIAR) 77th Annual Awards Gala, Missy Neu was honored as REALTOR of the Year. This is the third time Missy Neu has been awarded GIAR’s Realtor of the Year.

Each year, GIAR accepts nomination ballots for REALTOR of the Year. Eligibility criteria include a combination of factors including business accomplishments, high standard of ethics, civic activity and participation in the local, state and national associations.

“Missy Neu has worked tirelessly on her own book of business, is helping to develop better business practices for her fellow agents, continues to better the community and has made a significant impact on issues surrounding our industry on a local and national level,” said Pat Hodnett Cooper, Owner and Broker at Hodnett Cooper Real Estate.

In 2014, Missy sold over $7.3 million in real estate and had 18 transactions. As Hodnett Cooper Real Estate’s Vice President of Business Development, Missy’s reach extends much further. She led a group of agents through two Business Development Boot Camps designed to improve agent success through training, mentoring and technology. Missy was instrumental in Hodnett Cooper joining the invitation-only network of independently owned real estate firms, Leading Real Estate Companies of the World. With Missy’s leadership, Hodnett Cooper Real Estate increased its sales volume by over $30 million in 2014 over 2013.

Missy Neu not only serves Hodnett Cooper, she is dedicated to REALTOR associations on a local, state and national level. Most notably, Missy spearheaded efforts to reform the Biggert Waters Act, which significantly impacts coastal Georgia real estate. Missy lobbied to alleviate the unfair ramifications of flood insurance increases on homeowners. She worked directly with Congressman Jack Kingston and his staff to champion repeal and reform of the national legislation.

Throughout the year, Missy’s involvement in the Golden Isles Association of REALTORS, Georgia Association of REALTORS and National Association of REALTORS is vast. She chaired committees, served on numerous committees, and attended conferences and summits. “Because of her involvement, no one has a better grasp on the multitude of issues facing the real estate industry today,” said Pat Cooper.

In addition to her role at Hodnett Cooper and her association involvement, Missy believes that our success as individuals and companies is dependent on the health of our community. Missy contributes to that health by serving on the Board of Directors of the Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Executive Committee, Property Committee and is Vice Chair of Governmental Affairs. She was appointed to the Brunswick & Glynn County Economic Authority Board of Governors—the first woman to serve on the Board. Missy was also Co-Chair of the High School Graduation Blueprint Implementation Commission and served on the College of Coastal Georgia Service Learning Advisory Board. She also contributes and volunteers to a number of local charities.
