This exquisite oceanfront home is nestled privately in the sand dunes overlooking Gould’s Inlet in the Each Beach neighborhood of St. Simons Island. Most guests choose to walk through the lush lawn and swimming pool area to enter the home through the oceanfront entrance.
Upon entering the home, guests immediately notice the unique coastal style—bright and comfortable with original artwork and unique decor at every turn. The main level of the house features a quiet library inside the entrance and three bedrooms, each with an en suite bath. One bedroom features two king beds, another has one king and the master has one king plus a twin. All are connected to the expansive covered porch that overlooks the swimming pool, lawn and ocean beyond.
The second level features a large living area with fireplace, wet bar, gourmet kitchen and master suite. The gourmet kitchen offers a Viking range, a Sub Zero refrigerator and plenty of preparation space. The living area and master suite connect to the second level porch. And in one whimsical feature, a metal bucket on a pulley connects the pool area with the kitchen—send down cool beverages and snacks to those lounging poolside. This master has a king bed plus twin.
The home also features a roof-top deck, ideal for sunbathing or star gazing.
The grounds of this home are as unique and comfortable as the interior. Porches on the main level and second floor run the length of the house, providing additional sitting areas for relaxing or dining. The porches overlook the large, crystal clear pool with stunning tile work on the pool’s floor. Adjacent to the pool is a shaded tiki bar, a favorite gathering spot. Beyond the pool is a large grassy lawn and fire pit for evening enjoyment. The lawn has a private path to the beach.
A path from the pool leads to the guest house above the detached garage. The guest house features one bedroom, one bathroom with a king bed plus two twins. The guest house is ideal for families traveling with an au pair.
