The Moxie Craft Fest is happening this Friday, you wont want to miss this one of a kind market! Held in downtown Brunswick, you will get to see local artisans handmade goods which bring a fresh and eclectic vibe to the Golden Isles. This unique, hip Craft Fest will be from 5pm to 10pm and will have live music, food and of course tons of funky handmade crafts!
With spring in full gear here on St. Simons one great way to spend your Saturday is by enjoying all the beautiful gardens on the island. Cassina Garden Club presents their annual Garden Walk Week by taking you through 7 private gardens that are tended to by the owners or initiated by professional designers. Entry Fees cover the tour of gardens, marketplace with local vendors, garden party and entertainment.
On Sunday head to Gascoigne Bluff for the Golden Isles Food Truck Festival. Who doesn’t love a good food truck festival?! Complete with live music, craft vendors, family friendly activities, AND free yoga in the park. Its free to attend so be sure to check it out.

The 2018 Pup Crawl Bark For Life Kickoff event is happening tomorrow morning from 11am until 2p. $25 at the gate will get you in the door! By coming out and supporting the Bark for Life you will be helping the American Cancer Society save lives! Don’t miss out!
With Black History Month ending you will not want to miss out on learning about the slave ship Wander that brought people to Jekyll Island in 1858. You will get a behind the scenes look and to hear real live experience as well as enjoy a sneak peek of the upcoming exhibit. Tomorrow is your last opportunity to go visit so be sure to be at St. Andres Picnic Area on Jekyll tomorrow at 2pm.
Fort Frederica Nation Monument is hosting a celebration of Robert S. Abbott. If you don’t know much about Abbott you have got to come to Fort Frederica to hear about all the amazing stories about him! He was born to former slaves on St. Simons Island but grew up to launch the nation’s most important newspaper which helped him to become one of the first Black millionaires. Among many other accolades for his personal achieve his homes are also listed on the Nation Register of Historic Places and he has a ship, school, and park named after him!
