Veterans Day on Saint Simons Island is typically celebrated with a parade and festivities as a special way to say thank you to the men and women who have sacrificed to make our country a better place. This year will be a little different, but a celebration nonetheless. Beginning at 11:00am at the Casino at Neptune Park on St. Simons Island, there will be a Veteran’s Day observance. In addition, restaurants and shops around the St. Simons Island will be offering discounts for Veterans (some offered throughout the year).
